Strict and Stupid

Its been really tough all these days ....really hectic.....So have not been blogging.....
The last week went fine though when it comes to the work front....lately i have been hearing whats happening in Sathyabama college of engineering.....Students revolting because the college doesnt ahve AICTE recognition.....well this is something to fight ....but it would have been apt if the students and the college got there hands together to fight together ......but then why this.....
First ...Student and the management were never on one side.....the college which actually boasts of great discipline is dead .....
I have had a lot of friends who were from that college.....Never were they happy.....when you are a slave....you dont enjoy doing the thing you would love to do as well.....
I never get the idea of instilling discipline through threatening ......I also know a school named prince matriculation....same story.....
worse....parents are so happy putting there wards there.....I remember one of my neighbours was so proud that the school was very strict....
I tell you what.....The idea of being threatened actually instills and makes the human mind wait for an oppertunity to explode in all bad ways....if you see students who are all notorious in school would have that kind of stuff in there homes....their parents might be doing that......and otherwise if the institution is so bad you can see the children act strange at home.....
There is also a college in sivakasi named Mepco ....they also kind of terrorise the students there.....Infact there college slogan goes by " Disipline makes the nation great "......
What is so great being disciplined when you know you are treated like a group of goats ......
Discipline evolving from the space of freedom makes the nation great......
Any form of supppression leads to a revolt always ....and it never works in the long term.....
All these institutions just use this as a publicity to get more crowd and do a good buissness.....becasue some where each and every parent is afraid that there children might go bad giving the freedom he really requires.....but then....nobady knows he/she can anyway do all the bad things which they imagine irrespective of this suppression and infact more without freedom....
I would rather be happy if my son or daughter is comfortable telling me his/her activity than not ...so that i atleast can do something about it than not......
Lets get out of this concept of being strict and stupid ......
